At the School of Medicine, 2020 has been a year of truly living up to our missions. It is in times like these that the role of an academic medical center is tested and fully revealed. And even amid all the uncertainty, we have accomplished so much.
We unveiled a new curriculum, welcomed brilliant new faculty and announced the construction of one of the largest neuroscience buildings in the country. We continued to do our part in bringing about a more just society, including calling attention to racism as a public health crisis and working hard to expand Medicaid in our state.
Thank you to our health-care workers, faculty, staff and students. I am amazed at the deep well of purpose that you have brought to this challenging year.
Wishing all of you joy
and good health in 2021.
